With increasing frequency, toys and other consumer products have been recalled due to high levels of lead.

As consumers become more knowledgeable of the prevalence and dangers of lead, they are also becoming more aware of the potentially adverse health effects of other toxins such as mercury, arsenic, cadmium, and chlorine.
